Hi, I'm Craig Brian Larson.

I have published many books and articles and served in editorial roles for Leadership journal and PreachingToday.com for fifteen years.

I have a master’s degree in theology from Wheaton Graduate School and have served as pastor of Lake Shore Church in Chicago since 1995.

Since 2017 I have written a weekly blog titled “Knowing God and His Ways.”

My wife and I have a family of four grown sons and their wives, and six grandchildren.

My Promise

In 2018 I made it top priority to pray successfully for wisdom about how to lead others to faith in Jesus Christ. At that time I collected all the relevant Scriptures in the Bible on the subject of receiving wisdom and counsel from God. Over the next years I memorized these Scriptures, meditated on them deeply, and put them into practice. In this course I share the fruits of that experience.

The linchpin of my message is God’s gracious promise to Christians in James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” (ESV).

This email course will help you have faith to ask God for the wisdom you need for your family, finances, work, health, and spiritual and emotional well-being. Wisdom is relevant for everything in our lives, and God promises to give it. In addition, this course will give you practical advice on how to present your requests and receive answers.
